The Simple Past (The Perfect) Tense

  • The simple past of the perfect tense denotes complete events, which have already taken place. Since there is distinct conjugation used with each person, the pronoun is not usually mentioned unless for emphasis or contrast. This tense is conjugated by adding the following suffixes to the base form (which is هو form):
