Cross-disciplinary university program
language.
In addition to Arabic language courses, our school offers university groups the opportunity to take credited cross-disciplinary study at our facilities. In other words, students can supplement their Arabic studies here with courses or lectures within their own department, through members of their own faculty or from esteemed Middle Eastern scholars from Egyptian universities. This past summer, Harvard, Howard, Northeastern, and the Air Force ROTC
program participated in our combined-study program, and we at the Arabeya Association are looking forward to working with them again in the future.
Outside of class, students are introduced to the vast mosaic of cultural and historical phenomena that Egypt avails via faculty-led excursions into greater Cairo and beyond. Such outings are not limited to just the pyramid or the Sphinx, but the nearly limitless possibilities of both modern and ancient Egypt, in which students are availed a practical application of the language and further cultural immersion in a society welcoming of visitors since the time of Herodotus.
Students coming to us from universities or other academic institution receive a generous discount on tuition and lodging. Prices vary depending on hours of instruction and other factors.
