In our Small Group classes the administration staff works hard to maintain the smallest groups possible at any stage and never allows a group to exceed 5 students. This is because Arabeya’s founding philosophy of individualised learning does not stop at our one-to-one classes. By keeping our classes small, students are granted the opportunity to really find their voice and begin to express themselves in Arabic with confidence in a safe and supportive environment. This ability to constantly interact in Arabic with both the teacher and their fellow students is highly beneficial to language learning. It allows students to motivate and bounce off each other and provides the immersion the student needs for them to progress rapidly to the higher stages of fluency.
Before arriving to the school, the student will take a placement test and on arrival they will have a short interview with the Senior Instructor. This will allow for two things to happen: firstly it will help the student’s Senior Instructor understand the most appropriate class level; secondly, and just as importantly, it will give students the chance to tell the Senior Instructor what they are most looking to get out of their course. Any particular topics or areas of interest a student would like to cover can be voiced at the beginning of a course to maximise relevance and to customise content. Students can choose to take 20, 25 or 30 hours per week of MSA, ECA, or a combined program (MSA+ECA).
Small Group courses can be scheduled to begin at any time throughout they year.
NOTE: Shuttle service from the airport to the accommodation is free, if a student chooses to study 90 hours or more,
