Summer Program 2010 + accommodation
Summer Program 2010 + accommodation
Our Summer Program 2010 offers a number of options for students who wish to study Arabic intensively during the summer months. These choices are aimed at groups of students who seek to improve proficiency of Arabic in a short time or for University students who wish spend their summer vacation honing the Arabic that they study in University. For the latter, this is a perfect opportunity to focus on Arabic during a period in which the stress of University life and a full course-load do not hover. The arrangement of this program takes into consideration the student’s short-term length of stay and it strives to eliminate the burdens of traveling and settling in Egypt during the summer. The options vary according to the number of hours the student desires, but accommodations and services are the same. Each program includes accommodation in our student
residence flats, free shuttle to and from the airport, free wireless DSL in our center and free placement tests/certificates. The prices listed below are all inclusive- there are no registration fees, etc. For more details on our accommodations and services, see our ‘Services’ section.

Regular programs
One to One
At Arabeya we specialize in one-to-one a
nd one-to-two lessons. This approach is one to which we have been, and continue to be, committed since our founding. With only one or two students in the classroom, the student’s time is optimized, he or she is able to speak, listen and participate in the ideal fashion. Likewise, the instructor is able to identify the strengths and liabilities of his or her students, so that he or she can prepare lessons accordingly and therefore most effectively. More, our one-to-one and one-to-two students at Arabeya develop the sort of relationships with our instructors that we believe are conducive to learning the subtleties of the Arabic language. We have confirmed our philosophy repeatedly by the impressive progress demonstrated by the students emerging from one-to-one/two-student classes.

Online courses
Online Courses
We offer courses for online study at Arabeya that allow our students to pursue their Arabic study from abroad. Students participate in online, audio/video/interactive activities with instructors and other students. Our online curriculum invites the student to become a member of a virtual Arabic network. Periodic evaluations both allow the student to recognize his or her strengths and liabilities and provide the instructor with the ability to structure lessons effectively. Our flexible hours afford the student the opportunity to study Arabic in his or her native country alongside University studies or work. We believe that maintenance is key to language proficiency. Credit hours may be transferred to the student’s School, University or College.
Online students may wish to supplement their study with online chat sessions that will improve the student's speaking and listening capacities. For a student living in a country where Arabic is not spoken, this aspect of online study is crucial. The student may choose to focus on Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) or Egyptian Colloquial Arabic (ECA).
